Data protection

The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about how we handle your data.

You can visit this website without providing any personal information. hollywood.cloud uses cookies to make visiting the website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. You can decide for yourself whether you want to accept cookies in full or customize them. Technically necessary cookies must be accepted. If you want to register as a member and enjoy benefits, subscribe to the newsletter, make a purchase, or use certain features of this website, personal data such as your name and email address will be collected and stored. Our newsletter is tracked for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time (using the button in the newsletter, contact form, or informal email).

All users agree that the data they provide will be collected and stored in the system for appropriate purposes. The data obtained may be used for marketing purposes, including market research and statistical analysis (revocation possible at any time using the contact form). We use the data you provide to fulfill the contract and in accordance with legal requirements. User and customer data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or required by law. You automatically agree that all your information may be processed within the scope of this website and transferred to the new operator in the event of a change of operator or owner. In the event of a complete or partial sale, transfer, or other restructuring, e.g., through the sale of the domain or website project, of hollywood.cloud, user accounts and associated personal data may be automatically transferred to the new operator or made accessible to them without the need for further consent. The same applies to the data and user accounts of companies.

We may share your data with our service providers in order to operate our services (e.g., storage of data via third-party hosting services, provision of technical support, etc.). We may also disclose your data in the following circumstances: (i) to investigate, detect, prevent, or take action against illegal activities or other misconduct; (ii) to establish or exercise our rights of defense; (iii) to protect our rights, property, or personal safety, as well as the safety of our users or the public; (iv) in the event of a change of control at our company or one of our affiliated companies (by way of a merger, acquisition, or purchase of (substantially) all assets, etc.); (v) to collect, store, and/or manage your data through authorized third-party providers (e.g., cloud service providers), to the extent appropriate for business purposes; (vi) to work with third-party providers to improve your user experience. To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to point out that we cannot transfer or disclose non-personal data to third parties at our own discretion or use it in any other way.

If you accept all cookies, we store the following information: IP address, location, and information about your user behavior on the website (length of stay, pages visited, clicks, etc.). You can customize your cookies in the cookie settings according to your interests and choose from “Strictly necessary cookies,” “Marketing cookies,” “Functional cookies,” and “Analytics cookies.” If you only activate the strictly necessary cookies, these will be deleted from your hard drive after you close your browser (session cookies).

When you click on “Sign in with Google” or “Sign in with Facebook,” we receive the data necessary to create or log in to your user account (e.g., name, email address, profile picture) from the respective provider (Google/META). We only process the data that the selected social login provider (Google/META) transmits to us. Frequently transmitted data categories are: first and last name, email address, profile picture, user ID of the provider, and, if applicable, other profile information that you have shared with the provider. Technical data (e.g., IP address) may also be processed on the provider's side as part of the authentication process.

The recipients of the data are (i) the selected login provider (Google or META) as an independent controller/provider, (ii) any service providers who provide technical services for us (e.g., hosting, authentication SDKs) and are contractually bound as processors. We have entered into appropriate contractual arrangements (e.g., data processing agreements) or standard contractual clauses with the respective providers or service providers, where applicable. Please note: Providers such as Google/META process and store parts of the authentication data themselves; their privacy and terms of use apply in addition.

We use the transmitted data to (i) create and manage your user account on our website, (ii) authenticate you when you log in (access management), (iii) facilitate your profile (e.g., transfer of name/profile picture), if applicable. If we wish to receive additional data and use it for other purposes (e.g., marketing), we will inform you separately and, if necessary, ask for your consent.
